"Absolutely positive experience with Matt My old home owner insurance policy was so expensive just to find out today they will not renew my policy in June because they are leaving the state. Thirty years with that company and never a claim. Looking forward to better coverage and great service."

"I had State Farm through an agent in McFarland who retired a few years ago. I was automatically sent to this agent as they were closest to me. They asked to discuss my plan with me in person, but basically spent the meeting trying to sell me life insurance and was, in my opinion, very pushy about it. Later I asked them to add someone to my renters insurance and they tried to get me to add the person to my auto insurance. Not the biggest deal, however I asked them not to try to get me to things like that or offer me things I don't ask about. They responded by explaining why they asked me to do that, and then asked if I wanted to save with drive and save. The exact thing I asked them not to do. My entire experience with this agent office has felt very impersonal, and I have expressed this to them over email with a similarly impersonal response. This is all just my opinion based on how I felt in talking with this office, which differed greatly from my previous experience with a different state farm office. I have recently switched to a different insurance company and will be saving money as well."

That’s never the impression we want to leave. When we review coverage or suggest options like life insurance or additional auto coverage, the intent is to make sure there aren’t gaps and that clients are aware of ways they could be better protected, ensure coverage in the event of a claim, or potentially save money. That said, it should always feel helpful, not pressured. I also regret that our follow-up communication came across as impersonal. We strive to provide a personal, relationship-based experience, and it’s disappointing to hear we missed the mark for you. I truly wish you the best with your new insurance company and appreciate the time you trusted us with your auto and renters insurance. If you ever have questions in the future or would like to talk through anything, my door is always open. -Andy "

"Been with State Farm for many years. This office absorbed another office of a retiring Agent in January 2025. This office has bèen non-responsive and lacks follow through. Been waiting for a revised billing per Agent as well as most recently a quote for a potential change on a policy. As of today, email correspondence from 12/26 has not been acknowledged nor responded to by anyone from the office. Followed up again on 12/31 and this time received an out of office reply and told to contact others at the office. Sent an email with no response and no out of office reply from a co-worker. Been told that a new Agent in Watertown will be assuming policies from the Watertown office, but that has apparently been delayed and updates have not been provided by State Farm. Been disappointed since policies were transferred to this office. Received the requested information on 1/7. Thank you for the quote to potentially change a deductible."

"Paul, We were temporarily assigned to oversee the office following the unexpected retirement of the previous agent. As discussed, you were made aware that a permanent agent will be assuming responsibility for the office effective 2/1. Our team has been responsive to all of your requests for information. I understand your frustration regarding the timelines associated with your requested changes; however, those timelines were provided by corporate and are entirely outside of our office’s control. The commitments given to you have not yet passed, and we are continuing to monitor them closely. Additionally, your attempts to contact the office during the holiday weeks have not gone unanswered. Even while our team members were on approved vacation and spending time with their families, for Christmas and New Years (with out of offices stating that), we ensured your inquiries were addressed. We take customer service very seriously and consistently work to provide the highest level of service possible within the scope of what is available to us. We appreciate your understanding during this transition period. Sincerely, Andy"
